Henry Lynch late of this County deceased was Sumoned to answer

unto Co^ll David Browne of a plea that she render unto him five

hundred Sixty one pounds of Porke wch to him She oweth & unjustly

deteineth — And whereupon the sd David by Robert Pirrie hs Atto^rney

Comes & Saith that whereas Henry Lynch afd the 13^th day of July &ca

in y^e year of our Lord 1690 &ca & in y^e year of o^r Lord 1691. at Manokin

within the Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted unto David Browne

aforesd in the Sum of five hundred Sixty one pounds & ½ ^lb of good

Sound Mertable porke being the ballance of a Certaine acco^t for sundry

goods & Merchandizes at that time & Since Sold & delivered as p^r acco^t

thereof here in Court produced, may appear & the sd Henry to the sd

David being indebted in manner afd, in Consideration thereof did

assume & faithfully promise that he the sd Henry the sd 561½ lb

of porke as afd would well & truely Content & pay Nevertheless the sd

Sum or quantity of Porke as afd y^e sd Henry Lynch in his life time

unto the sd David Browne hath not paid, nor hath it been pd unto y^e

Sd David Browne Since y^e death of the sd Henry Lynch by Elizabeth

Lynch to whome Adm^rn of all & Singular the goods Chattels & Credits

which were of the sd Henry was Comitted nor by either of them

hath it been pd but the Same to pay she hath refused & doth still

refuse & detaineth the Same although to pay y^e Same she hath been

requested to the damage of the sd David of 1123 lb of Porke &

thereupon he brings this Sute &ca.   {Jn^o Doe
