To the Worll Justices for the County of Somerset in Court now Sitting

The humble Petion of James Traine & Margaret Traine

Sheweth . That whereas ye Petioners are at age to Chuse

their guardians, Petions yr worps that wee may have yr

Priveledge of the Law & yr Petioners as in duty bound

Shall ever pray &ca. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

     The forsd Petion being read, the Court demanded what age

      the sd James & Margaret was , the sd James answered

      that he was eighteen years old & the sd Margarett

      fifteen, years old which being by the worll Court Considered

      doe Grant the Petion afd and thereupon the sd James &

      Margaret doe in open Court make Choice of Jno Meclaster

      to be their Guardian wch by ye sd Court is to them granted

And Ordered that sd John Meclaster Guardian as afd give good

Security for the foresd Orphants Estate as pr Law required.



Memorand John West Clk of the Court made Oath this day

to two fynes of Wm Jenckins & one of Mary Basketts wch was

Omitted in the last List carried in 8ber 1695 to ye Governr

Ordered That the Second Tuesday in December next be

the day appointed for laying this County Levy — – –



Ordered by the Worll Court that a Bridge be built over ye head

of St Martins River, according to the propositions & dementions

given by mr Sam; Hopkins & mr Ja. Round,who is by this Order

qualified to agree for the Same &ca. — Order Sent pr sheriff



Ordered that a Punchion Bridge be made wthin John

Hendersons District by ye impassable Branch betwixt [Pills field]

& John Williams’s //. Ordr Sent pr Sub Sher
