The sd Stephen did assume on himself and to the sd Robert Then & there

faithfully promise that he the sd Stephen to the sd Robert So much tobacco

as the sd Robert Should reasonably desire for the Same would well and

truely Content & pay and the sd Robert giveing Credit to the promise and

assumption of the Said Stephen So as afd made did Administer Severall

means & medicines as by an acco^t here in Court may appear and did

also bestow his labour & attendance fore & dureing the space of thirty

days on & about the sd Cure, and the sd Robert in fail Safe that that he doth

reasonably deserve for the Same the Sum of five thousand Six hundred

& eighty Pounds of tobacco Nevertheless the Said Stephen in his lifetime

nor the Said John & Thomas after the death of the sd Stephen to whome

Admⁿ of all & Singular the goods Chattels & Credits which were of the Said

Stephen was Comitted hath not paid but hath hitherto refused & doth Still refuse

to the damage of the Said Robert of Eight thousand pounds of tobacco and
