The Condicon of wch Recognizance is Such that if the above bound John ffynch doe pay unto the sd Jane Jones five hundred pounds of tobacco as also take care of the sd Basterd Child as afd & also pay all Officers fees that then his ffyne of four hundred pounds of tobacco likewise as a ffyne to the King be also paid, the foresd Recogniz to be void, otherwayes to be & remaine in full power force & Vertue .
Bryan Odougherty The sd Bryan pr Petion &ca having this day ver } made appear that the Estate of the sd Whittington Admr of And:Whittington stood indebted to him Six hundred pounds of ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Tobacco whereupon judgmt was by ye Admr Attorney confest for ye Same he the sd Odougherty promiseing to allow what was justly due on Sd Whittingtons book whereupon Ordr was granted agt ye Admr &ca. wth Cost &ca. Robt Catlin Sworn on part of the Plt.
Ordered by the Worll Court, That the Securities for Lancelott Sawkill See him forth comeing next Court to answer to the King &ca, or in default thereof the Bail Bond to be Assigned [Cop sent] ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ordered by the Worll Court that Robert Smith be appointed Overseer of his Maties highwayes, Conjunct wth Rowd Beavins cop sent ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ordered that mr Edward Jones be appointed Overseer of his Maties highwayes, in Stead & place of Philip Adams decd Cop. sent ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Walter Taylor this day in Open Court Agreed with ye Worspll [ ] Justices for the makeing of a Pasture fence upon the Court house Land, with Posts and Rails, each post to be two foot in the ground & to be at ten foot distance, with four Rails to each pananel, the Said Bounds for ye foresd ffence to be laid out by Henry Hudson and Thomas Quillain , who are hereby bound with the sd Taylor for the true prformance of the Sd worke in 2000 lb of tobacco to be Compleated & finished by the Second Tuesday in June next, the Sd Court allowing the sd Taylor out of the County levy four pounds of tobacco for each pannel So finished as afd. – – – ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Grand Jury this day brought in their prsentmts and desires of ye Court that forms might be amended not altering Substance and were dismist. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ John Jenner being bound by Recognizance to appr this Court to answer to the King &ca, were this day Calld and appeared and was by the Court further Ordered to give in Security for his appr at ye next {Court] here to be held in June to answer as afd. Whereupon Came the sd Jenner and his two Securities (viz) Stephen Costin & Richard Chambers and ye sd Jenner did acknowledge himSelf to be indebted unto or Soveraign
