Ordered That the Prison Court house now to be built on ye Court

house Land be built fifteen foot in length & twelve foot

in breadth, and that Majr Wm Whittington be allowed

out of this County Levy this year two thousand pounds

of tobacco towards the building the Same . – – –

Order John Swain pay to Majr Wm Whittington

four hundred pounds of tobacco towards defraying ye charge

of the new Prison house – – – – – – –

Ordered that mr Ephraim Wilson pay to Richd Tull

fourteen hundred & fourty pounds of tobacco toward the

pay for Workemens diet now at Worke on ye Cort house

William Rorie Servant to Majr Robt King this day Petiand

the Worll Court for his freedom, the sd Rorie produceing

his Indenture, which Indenture being read was by the

Court Considered, & Ordered, that the sd Rorie be at his

libertie & Sett free from the sd Majr King &ca. as prayed

   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Andrew Ramsey humbly Suplicated the Worll Court

for his freedome, the sd Ramsey produceing his Indenture

which was read in open Court & Considered, & Ordered that

the sd Ramsey be Sett free from ye sd Indenture & from his

Master mr Thomas Dixon as prayed . - - - - - - -

Chambers & Thomas Smith all of the County of Somerset in

the Province of Maryland, doe acknowledge & confess our

Selves to owe and are indebted unto James Train, Margarett

Traine & Magdalene Traine Orphants of James Traine

deceased in the just Sum of Eighty pounds Sterling money of

England which we promise to pay unto the abovesd Orphants

or to their Heirs Extors Admrs or Assigns, & for ye true prformance

of the Same to be Well & truely paid Wee bind us & each of us

our Heirs Extors & Admrs joyntly & Severally in & for the whole

as Witness our hands & Seals this 4th day of Decembr in ye 7th year

of ye Reign of or Soveraign Lord King Wm ye 3d. over England &ca ano Dom 1695
