counties on the first day of July, 1943, and on the first day of each
and every month thereafter transmit to the Department of Game and
Inland Fish [Commission] of the State all moneys received by them
for the issuance of the aforesaid licenses and such funds shall be
accounted for by the said [Commission] Department to the [Comp-
troller] Treasurer of the State. All moneys so received by the
[Comptroller] Treasurer shall be placed to the credit of the State
Game Protection Fund, and said clerks shall report to the Director
the first of each and every month the name and address of each
licensee to whom they have issued licenses the preceding month for a
skiff or rowboat, designating number of said license and description
of said boat.

153. Shooting from boat prohibited.

(a) Unlawful generally; retrieving.—It shall be unlawful, pur-
posely or unnecessarily, to disturb in the waters of this State or to
hunt any waterfowl in or from any boat of any description within
the limits of the State of Maryland, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE
PROVIDED IN THIS ARTICLE. Nothing herein shall prohibit
the retrieving of wounded or dead wild waterfowl from any boat
propelled by motor if said wild waterfowl is wounded or killed from
a stationary blind on land or water or from a sneak boat as provided
by law.

For the purpose of this subsection it is permissible to shoot from
a boat any waterfowl that has been wounded from a lawful shooting
site. This shall include boats powered by inboard or outboard motors
and this pertains only to the retrieving of bona fide cripples.

[158. Duck Blinds—Use of Boat.]

[It shall be lawful for any person hunting in a licensed booby,
brush, or stake blind to use a skiff or rowboat propelled by oars for
the purpose of retrieving wounded or dead waterfowl when same
has been wounded or killed from said blind or from natural shore.]

160. Duck Blinds—License tag must be displayed.

Blank applications for licenses shall be furnished to the Clerks of
Courts of this State by the Director and shall provide for the location
of the blind and the name of the owner of said shore property
opposite or on which said blind is located. Application for any such
license may be made through the mails and upon the proper infor-
mation as provided herein the Clerk of the Court shall issue same.
Said license shall bear the signature of the Director and shall be
countersigned by the Clerk issuing the same who shall at the same
time fill out on a stub attached to the license blank the name and
address of the licensee and the location of blind and shall then de-
tach said stub and mail same to the Director. In addition to said
license for said blind every person hunting from same must have in
possession a hunter's license and tag prominently displayed on outer
garment [at the center of back] as provided by law.

175. Hunting or trapping mink, muskrat or otter.

(d) It shall be unlawful for any non-resident of this state at any
time to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap or shoot, or attempt to hunt,
