of Public Works of Maryland are authorized and directed to execute
a good and sufficient deed conveying a fee simple title to the His-
torical Committee of Riverdale for a nominal consideration for the
following land:

(a)     All of the land and improvements owned by the State Roads
Commission that the said Commission acquired in a deed from The
Lord Our Righteousness Church, dated August 9, 1966, and recorded
on November 21, 1966 among the Land Records of Prince George's
County in Liber 3414, Folio 214; and

(b)     All of the land and improvements owned by the State Roads
Commission that the said Commission acquired in a deed from John
Bata, Jr. and his wife, dated April 22, 1964, and recorded the same
day among the Land Records of Prince George's County in Liber
2966, Folio 212; and

(c)     All of the land and improvements owned by the State Roads
Commission that the said Commission acquired in a deed from Terre
Lea, Inc., dated January 5, 1968, and recorded on January 23, 1968,
among the Land Records of Prince George's County in Liber 3556,
Folio 457.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 417
(House Bill 43)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 5, 14, 27 and 29(6) of Article 97 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967
Supplement), title "Weights and Measures," subtitle "Standard
Weights and Measures,"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments
Sections 7, 9, 13, 26 and 34 (b) of the said Article and subtitle of
the Code, and to add new Sections 11A and 11B to the said Article
and subtitle of the Code, to follow immediately after Section 11
thereof; and to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
192(c-l)(l) of Article 43, title "Health," subtitle "Adulteration
of Food and Drink," subheading "Food and Drug Law," of said
Code, (1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), repeal-
ing the provision requiring bonds for the superintendent, inspec-
tors, and city, county and deputy sealers of Weights and Measures;
repealing exemptions for soap and bread in this law; relating to
powers and duties of the superintendent and of city and county
sealers; providing for certain specifications and tolerances of
Weights and Measures; relating to inspection and packaging of
fluid dairy products and cottage cheese, ice cream and similar
products, textile waste materials and rags, offenses and penalties,
and authorizing the superintendent to issue stop-use, stop-removal
and removal orders, and to obtain an injunction to secure com-
pliance with the provisions of said subtitle; and generally amend-
ing the weights and measures laws of this State.
