Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

(House Bill 1182)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 150 of
Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume), title "Chancery," subtitle "Conservators," providing
that a conservator may sell, mortgage or lease any real property
over which he is appointed to control subject to the direction
of the Court which appointed him.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 150 of Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Chancery," subtitle "Conserva-
tors," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows :
150.
A conservator shall have control, charge and management of the
estate, real and personal, of the person for whom he has been
appointed conservator and may sell, mortgage, or lease any real or
leasehold property for any term of years, all subject to the direction
of the court which appointed him, and shall have the power to collect
all debts due such person, and upon authority of such court, to adjust
and settle all accounts owing by him and to sue and be sued in his
representative capacity. He shall apply such part of the principal
of the estate of such person as the court may authorize to the sup-
port of such person and the maintenance and education of his family
and children.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 382
(House Bill 1183)
AN ACT to waive the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 504 of
the Acts of 1966, said section relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of 1966 must
be placed under contract insofar as the provisions of said Section
relate to the item in Section 5(G) (3) in said Construction Loan
Act, which provides certain monies for the construction of a dam
and lake of approximately 43 acres in Cunningham Falls State
Park.
