Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the provisions of Section 10, Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1966
be and they are hereby waived, insofar as they impose a time for
placing under contract the items in Section 5(G) (3) in said Chapter
504 of the Acts of 1966, making available seven hundred fifty thou-
sand dollars ($750,000) for construction of a dam and lake of ap-
proximately 43 acres in Cunningham Falls State Park. With the
waiver of these provisions so applied to this item, there shall be
allowed an additional period of two years, beginning on the effective
date of this Act, for placing these projects under contract, and after
this two-year period the provisions of Section 10 of said Chapter
shall be fully effective and applied to this item.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary District, to
add new Section 83-80A to the Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1963 Edition), and new Section 71-28A to the
Montgomery County Code (1965 Edition), being Articles 17 and
16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titles "Prince George's County" and "Montgomery County," sub-
title "Washington Suburban Sanitary District," the new section to
follow Section 83-80 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County and Section 71-28 of the Montgomery County
Code, respectively, relating to procedures and charges for water
and sanitary sewer connections made by the Washington Suburban
Sanitary Commission, and authorizing the establishment of addi-
tional procedures and different charges with respect to connections
being installed in unimproved areas.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 83-80A of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1963 Edition), and new; Section 71-28A of the Montgomery
County Code (1965 Edition), being Articles 17 and 16, respectively,
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County" and "Montgomery County," subtitle "Washington Suburban
Sanitary District," be and they are hereby added, to follow immedi-
ately after Sections 83-80 and 71-28 of the respective Codes, and to
read as follows:
83-80.A. (71-28 A).
If and when the Commission ascertains that it is feasible, reason-
able and economical to do so, it may provide that a water or sanitary
sewer connection made to a water or sewer line installed in a street,
road, alley or right of way which has not been paved or otherwise
improved, so as not to require the replacing of pavement or street
improvement upon installation of the connection, may be placed in a
