SEC. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
SHALL TAKE EFFECT JULY 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 8(g-l),
9(g-l), 11(i-l), 19(g), 21(h) and 101 of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1967 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer Licenses," "Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses," and "Hours and Days for Sale," to allow alco-
holic beverage licensees in Kent County with seven-day licenses to
sell alcoholic beverages during certain hours on Sunday and to set
the fee for such seven-day licenses and to provide that this Act
be subject to referendum.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 8(g-l), 9(g-l), 11(i-l), 19(g), 21(h) and 101 of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1967 Sup-
plement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer Licenses,"
"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," and "Hours and Days for Sale," be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

(g-1). In Kent and Wicomico counties, the annual license fee for
such a license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00), except that in Kent
County the fee for a seven-day license shall be seventy-five dollars
($75.00).

(g-1). In Kent and Wicomico counties, the annual license fee for
such a license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00), except in
Kent County the fee for a seven-day license shall be one hundred
twenty-five dollars ($125.00).

(i-1) In Kent and Wicomico counties, the annual license fee for
such a license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00), except that in
Kent County the fee for a seven-day license shall be one hundred
twenty-five dollars ($125.00).

(g) In Kent County, the annual fee for such a license shall be two
thousand dollars ($2,000.) for a six-day license and the fee for a seven-
