(J-2) ANY CORPORATION, CLUB OR ORGANIZATION
WHICH IS A COUNTRY CLUB AS DEFINED IN THIS ARTICLE
OR ELEEMOSYNARY AND IS A LOCAL POST, CHAPTER,
LODGE, COUNCIL OR BRANCH OF A NATIONAL ORGANIZA-
TION HAVING A MEMBERSHIP OF MORE THAN 300,000 AND
WHICH SAID LOCAL POST, CHAPTER, LODGE, COUNCIL OR
BRANCH HAS A MINIMUM DUES-PAYING MEMBERSHIP OF
MORE THAN 200 MEMBERS MAY, UPON RECEIVING THIS
LICENSE, ALLOW ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE CON-
SUMED ON ITS PREMISES. THIS LICENSE PROVIDED FOR
ABOVE SHALL PERMIT THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES BY A BONA FIDE MEMBER OR HIS GUEST ON
THE PREMISES OF THE COUNTRY CLUB OR ELEEMOSYN-
ARY CORPORATION, CLUB OR ORGANIZATION IF SAID AL-
COHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE SUPPLIED BY A BONA FIDE
MEMBER. THE HOURS DURING WHICH THE PRIVILEGES
CONFERRED BY THIS LICENSE MAY BE EXERCISED, SHALL
BE FROM 11:00 A.M. OF ONE DAY TO 1:00 O'CLOCK A.M. ON
THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE ANNUAL FEE FOR SUCH A
LICENSE SHALL BE $150.00.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968. SECTION 25(C) OF ARTICLE 2B OF THE ANNO-
TATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957 EDITION AND 1967 SUP-
PLEMENT), TITLE "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES," SUBTITLE
"SPECIAL AND TEMPORARY LICENSES," BE AND IT IS
HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED WITH AMEND-
MENTS, TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

(C) SPECIAL BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS
C, WHICH SHALL ENTITLE THE HOLDER THEREOF TO
EXERCISE ANY OF THE PRIVILEGES CONFERRED BY THE
SAID CLASS OF LICENSE FOR THE USE OF ANY PERSON
HOLDING A BONA FIDE ENTERTAINMENT CONDUCTED BY
A CLUB, SOCIETY, OR ASSOCIATION AT THE PLACE THERE-
IN DESCRIBED FOR A PERIOD NOT EXCEEDING SEVEN
CONSECUTIVE DAYS, UPON THE PAYMENT OF A FEE OF
FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00) PER DAY; PROVIDED THAT THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 103 OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL NOT
APPLY TO HOLDERS OF THIS LICENSE AND ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES SOLD UNDER THIS SPECIAL LICENSE SHALL

of mixed alcoholic drinks to its members or guests . "Bottle club"
shall not include any country club as defined in this article, any
eleemosynary corporation, club or organization which is a local post,
chapter, lodge, council or branch of a national organization having
a membership of more than 300,000 and which said local post, chap-
ter, lodge, council or branch has a minimum dues paying member-
ship of more than 200 members or any place or business licensed for
the sale of alcoholic beverages under this article.
(2) It is unlawful in Montgomery County for any "bottle club"
to sell setups or other component parts of mixed alcoholic drinks.
