1967 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in
Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney," to increase the salary and
expenses of the State's Attorney for Caroline County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40(f) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1967 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and
Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

40.

(f) In Caroline County, (1) the State's Attorney's salary is
[four thousand dollars ($4,000)] six thousand six hundred dollars
($6,600).

(2) The State's Attorney's allowance for office, traveling and
other expenses is [two thousand dollars ($2,000).] four thousand
two hundred dollars ($4,200).
Payments on account of this allow-
ance shall be made at regular intervals by the Board of County
Commissioners upon the presentation of bills by the State's Attorney.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall not serve to
increase the salary of the State's Attorney for Caroline County in
office as of the effective date of this Act but shall become effective to
increase the salary of the State's Attorney next elected to office for
such county, including the present officeholder if he should succeed
himself in the next election.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 361
(House Bill 1087)

AN ACT to add a new Section 490 to Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Insurance Code," subtitle "31. Miscellaneous," to
follow immediately after Section 489, thereof, to provide that an
insured or person covered under a policy of accident insurance,
sickness insurance, health insurance, accident and sickness insur-
ance, disability insurance, group health insurance, group accident
insurance, group health and accident insurance or blanket health
insurance, be entitled to reimbursement for any podiatrical service
which is within the lawful scope of practice of a duly licensed
podiatrist, whether the said service is performed by a doctor of
medicine or duly licensed podiatrist.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 490 be and it is hereby added to Article 48A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967
Supplement), title "Insurance Code," subtitle "31. Miscellaneous,"
