Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 48 of Article 66 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Mortgages,"
subtitle "Secondary Mortgage Loan Law," be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
48.
No person, copartnership, or corporation so licensed shall engage
in the secondary mortgage loan business, under any other name,
or at any other place of business, than that named in the license.
Not more than one place of business shall be maintained under the
same license and no loans or advancements shall be made, applica-
tions received, notes or contracts signed or mortgage, deed of trust
or other evidence of indebtedness executed at any other place than
that designated in the license, or the office of the lender's attorney
but the Commissioner may issue more than one license to the licensee
upon the payment of an additional [licensee] license fee and the filing
of an additional bond for each license. No licensee shall conduct the
business of making loans under this subtitle within any office, room
or place of business in which any other business is solicited or engaged
in, or in association or conjunction therewith, if the Commissioner
shall duly find and establish that the operation of such other busi-
ness has concealed evasion or violation of this subtitle or of the
rules and regulations lawfully made hereunder and shall thereafter
order such licensee in writing to desist from such conduct.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 45
(House Bill 148)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 73 of
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle
"Juvenile Causes in Montgomery County," amending the judicial
laws in order to correct erroneous wording therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 73 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Courts,"
subtitle "Juvenile Causes in Montgomery County," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
73.
The judges for juvenile causes shall be appointed, as provided
by Section 98 of Article 52, enacted herewith. [He] They shall
have the qualifications and receive a salary as provided in Sections
98 and 108 of said Article 52.
