any such bazaar, carnival, or raffle or shall receive or be paid any
of the proceeds from any such carnival, bazaar, or raffle, for per-
sonal use or benefit. At any such carnival, bazaar, or raffle it shall
IT SHALL be lawful FOR SUCH ORGANIZATION OR CORPORA-
TION to award prizes in cash or in merchandise by such devices
as are commonly designated as paddle wheels, wheels of fortune,
chance books, bingo, or any other gaming device, provided however
that such ANY carnivals, bazaars, or raffles shall be managed by the
members of such group, organization or corporation personally
through its members.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to add new Section 135D to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Worcester County (1961 Edition, being Article 24 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Worcester County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," said new section to follow im-
mediately after Section 135C authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Worcester County, in order to promote the safety of the
traveling public, to restrict, limit or prohibit parking or stopping
on highways within said county under certain conditions.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 135D be and is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Worcester County (1961 Edition, being Article 24 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Worcester
County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to read as follows:
135D.
In order to promote traffic safety and to prevent accidents caused
by the indiscriminate stopping or parking of vehicles on or along the
highways in Worcester County, the County Commissioners are au-
thorized, by resolution, to restrict, limit or prohibit parking or stop-
ping on or along any road or highway or portion thereof in such
county, provided, however, if such highway is a State highway the
County Commissioners shall first receive concurrence therefor from
the State Roads Commission. The highways or sections thereof
where parking or stopping is to be restricted, limited or prohibited
shall be designated by appropriate signing. Any person violating a
resolution of the County Commissioners relating to the parking or
stopping of vehicles along any highway in such county shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in a
penalty not less than $10.00, nor more than $100.00.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
