(House Bill 909)

AN ACT to legalize the 1968 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Kent County (being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Kent County and edited by W. Porter Ellington,
and making provisions for the publication, sale and distribution
of this Code and of supplements thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1968 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent
County (being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), published under the direction of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Kent County and edited by W. Porter Ellington, be and the
same is hereby legalized. Said Code shall contain all Public Local
Laws relating to Kent County in effect after the 1968 Regular Session
of the General Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the charters
of the several municipal corporations within Kent County as in effect
on July 1, 1968. The Code shall be deemed and taken in all the Courts
of the State and by all Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of
the State and by all other public officials of the State and of any politi-
cal subdivision thereof to be evidence of the Public Local Laws of
Kent County in existence at the time of compilation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That any supplement to this Code
is similarly legalized and effective, to contain changes in the public
local laws and municipal charters in Kent County as of the time of
publication.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County Com-
missioners of Kent County be and it is hereby authorized and directed
to make an appropriation to provide for the publication of said Code
and of annual supplements thereto; and it further is authorized to
provide for the sale and distribution of said Code and of any supple-
ments thereto.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

Stenographers," as said Sections were variously amended by
Chapters 270 and 378 of the Acts of 1951, Chapter 725 of 1953,
