(House Bill 899)

AN ACT to repeal Section 9(11F) of Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed
and Where," and to enact new Section 9(11F) in lieu thereof,
to stand in the place of the section repealed, to provide an exemp-
tion for farming implements, livestock, and stock in business for
county tax purposes in Kent County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9 (11F) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Revenue
and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed and Where," and to
enact new Section 9(11F) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of
the section repealed, and to read as follows:

(11F) For purposes of county taxation in Kent County, farming
implements, livestock, and stock in business of persons engaged in
commercial business, shall over a three-year period beginning July
1, 1968, be exempted in increasing amounts in equal ratios for each
of the three years until the end of the three-year period, and there-
after, such property shall be entirely exempt.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to add new Section 300A of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Kent County (1959 Edition, being Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Kent County," subtitle
"Landings," to follow immediately after Section 300 thereof; to
prohibit the dumping OR DISCHARGE of trash OR REFUSE
around landings, wharves and harbors in Kent County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 300A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Kent County (1959 Edition, being Article 15
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Kent County,"
subtitle "Landings," to follow immediately after Section 300 thereof,
and to read as follows:

300A.

(A) No person shall cast or throw OR CAUSE TO BE DIS-
CHARGED any trash, refuse or filth of any kind into the water in
any part of any public or private landing, dock or harbor in Kent
