1622 JOINT RESOLUTIONS
Whereas, to provide recreation for its citizens and to attract
tourists the State should make available to fishermen access to streams
and creeks; and
Whereas, many bridges have proven to be popular with fishermen
as evidenced by the great use of the Choptank River Bridge for fish-
ing purposes; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the State
Roads Commission is requested to include in its plans for bridge
construction access facilities for fishermen; and be it further
Resolved, That copies of this Resolution be sent to the Chairman
and Chief Engineer of the State Roads Commission.

House Joint Resolution requesting the Department of Employment
Security to expedite those applications for unemployment com-
pensation denied for reasons of technical insufficiencies or errors
of completion.
Whereas, Many persons who will ultimately be found entitled to
unemployment compensation are on first application denied such
compensation for technical insufficiency of such application, and
Whereas, Many of such persons who apply for unemployment
compensation but are temporarily denied such compensation are in
dire financial need and should be awarded such unemployment
compensation as promptly as possible, and
Whereas, The reprocessing of an application for unemployment
compensation can take considerable time; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Depart-
ment of Employment Security be requested to expedite in all manner
possible the reprocessing of those applications for unemployment
compensation which were denied for technical insufficiency and/or
errors made either by the Department or the applicant; and be it
further
Resolved, That copies of this Resolution be sent to the Director
of the Department of Unemployment Security.
