1582                               JOINT RESOLUTIONS

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That upon the
enactment of Senate Bill 67, the State Roads Commission is requested
to consider the reconstruction of Spa Road as a priority project and
immediately proceed to reconstruct this road between West Street
and Forest Drive; and be it further

Resolved, That copies of this Resolution be sent to the Chairman
and members of the State Roads Commission and the Chief Engi-
neer.

(Senate Joint Resolution 35)

Senate Joint Resolution commending the members of the State
Youth Board and expressing thanks to those groups and indi-
viduals who financed the project.

Whereas, the State Youth Board was created by a 1966 Act of
the General Assembly and its existence was extended for a one year
period by a 1967 Act, and

Whereas, the Board has produced an excellent report on legis-
lation relating to the prediction and prevention of juvenile delin-
quency, and

Whereas, the cost of preparing and producing the report was
borne entirely by private resources, at no expense to the State, and
the Senate appreciates this unique occurrence, now therefore be it,

Resolved, that the Senate of Maryland commends the members of
the State Youth Board for a job well done, and be it further

Resolved, that the Senate of Maryland expresses its appreciation
to the Honorable Dulany Foster, Chairman of the Board, to the
Hoffberger Foundation, to Dr. Gerald A. Whitmarsh, and to the
Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital for their outstanding work on
the State Youth Board project and for their financing of this
valuable effort at no cost to the State, and be it further,

Resolved, that copies of this Resolution be sent to each member
of the Board and to the Hoffberger Foundation and the Sheppard
and Enoch Pratt Hospital.
