may order the audit to be conducted. The Court may order such
other relief as it deems appropriate under the circumstances of the
case.
(d) Prior to the execution of the deed or deeds conveying title
to the real property, the person responsible for the disbursement of
funds shall inform the seller and buyer in writing of the provisions
of this Section.
(E) UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED TO DO SO BY
EITHER THE BUYER OR THE SELLER, A PERSON RESPON-
SIBLE FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS IN A REAL
ESTATE CLOSING TRANSACTION SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED
TO PROVIDE SUCH BUYER OR SELLER WITH THE RE-
QUIRED EVIDENCE OF A RECORDED RELEASE IF SUCH
PERSON PROPERLY DISBURSES ALL FUNDS ENTRUSTED
TO HIM IN THE COURSE OF THE CLOSING TRANSACTION
WITHIN FIVE (5) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE DELIVERY
OF THE DEED OR DEEDS CONVEYING TITLE TO THE REAL
PROPERTY.
(e) (F) The cost of reproducing and mailing a recorded release
under this section shall be borne by the seller unless the parties
otherwise agree.
(f) (G) The word "person" as used in this Section means any
individual, partnership, firm, organization, corporation, trust entity
or other similar institution.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 865)
AN ACT relating to the Washington Suburban Transit District, to
repeal Section 83A-12(b) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County,") the same section being Section 72-12(b) of the Mont-
gomery County Code, (1965 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County");
and to add new Sections 83A-14(b) and 83A-14(c), to follow im-
mediately after 83-14(a), of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1963 Edition), the same being Sections
72-14(b) and 72-14(c), to follow immediately after 72-14(a), of
the Montgomery County Code (1965 Edition), to repeal a provi-
sion setting requirements of ceilings on the amount of contractual
obligations which the Commission may enter into; and to clarify
the powers of Prince George's County and Montgomery County to
meet the obligations of the Commission and to provide that such
counties may exercise any method they may choose to finance the
transit project.
