CHAPTER 81
(House Bill 566)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 318E and 318F of Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Health," subtitle "State Board of Barber Examiners" and to
enact new Section 318E to stand in the place of the sections so
repealed, to provide that any person completing eighteen months
as a graduate apprentice, upon application to the Board of Exam-
iners, payment of fee, and passing of examination, shall be entitled
to a Master's license.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 318E and 318F of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health," subtitle
"State Board of Barber Examiners" be and they are hereby repealed,
and to enact new Section 318E to stand in the place of the Sections
so repealed, and to read as follows:
318E. Master's License.
Any person who has completed eighteen months work as a grad-
uate apprentice may make application to the Board of Examiners
for a license as a Master Barber. He shall pay a fee for examination
of ten dollars ($10.00) TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00) and upon pass-
ing the examination shall be entitled without limitation to do barber-
ing work under this subtitle.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 82
(House Bill 567)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 318C of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume), title "Health," subtitle "State Board of Barber Exam-
iners," to require that any barber who trains apprentices must
first qualify by completing the requirements for teachers in barber
schools.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 318C of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health," subtitle "State Board
of Barber Examiners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
318C.
A barbershop in this State may not employ at the same time more
than one apprentice barber for each qualified barber employed. Any
