(1965 Replacement Volume) title "Health," subtitle "State Board
of Barber Examiners" be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows :
317.
Each person filing his application for examination shall pay to
the treasurer of the said Board of Examiners the sum of [ten]
twenty dollars. Such payment shall constitute a part of the fund
to pay the compensation and expenses of said Board. The Board
shall keep a list of the names and places of business of all persons
to whom certificates of qualification are granted under the pro-
visions of this subtitle in a book provided for that purpose, with
the names arranged in alphabetical order, and said book shall at
all times be open to public inspection.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 565)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 313 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume) title "Health," subtitle "State Board of Barber Exam-
iners" to provide a change in the per diem compensation paid to
Board members.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 313 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health," subtitle "State Board
of Barber Examiners" be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
313.
Each member of such Board and subboard members shall receive
as compensation the sum of [twenty dollars ($20.00)] thirty dollars
($30.00) for each day necessarily and actually engaged in the per-
formance of his duty as a member of said Board or subboard, and
ten cents for each mile necessarily and actually traveled by him in
attending the meetings of said Board, which sum or sums shall be
paid out of any moneys in the hands of the treasurer of said Board.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
