any other purpose than the administration of the Department of
Game and Inland Fish [Commission] and for the protection, propa-
gation, preservation and investigation of fish and game.
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THE
GAME AND INLAND FISH COMMISSION IS DIRECTED TO
PREPARE A FIVE-YEAR PLAN FOR THE EXPENDITURE
OF THE ADDITIONAL REVENUES TO BE RECEIVED FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT, AND SUCH PLAN SHALL
BE SUBMITTED TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT ITS 1969
SESSION.
Sec. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 75
(House Bill 621)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3(g)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "General
Provisions" to include among the enumerated powers of the
County Commissioners of Charles County that of establishing
and maintaining pension, retirement and insurance plans for its
officers and employees and of providing retirement funds for em-
ployees reaching retirement age prior to the origination of such
retirement system.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3 (g) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "County Commissioners," sub-
title "General Provisions" be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments to read as follows:
3. Pensions, Retirement and Group Insurance: Washington County
and Charles County
(g) To establish and maintain a general system of pensions and
retirement and group insurance for the benefit and advantage of
its officers and employees, with necessary classifications and terms
of admissions. This subsection shall be applicable in Washington
County and the County Commissioners shall have the powers pro-
vided herein. In Charles County the County Commissioners also
shall have the authority to make special provisions for retirement
funds for employees who reach retirement age prior to the origina-
tion of a retirement system.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
