age a misdemeanor, making the coloring of certain fowl a misde-
meanor, providing certain exceptions, prescribing a penalty for
violations and relating generally to the sale and coloring of live
chicks, duckling and other fowl in this State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 60A be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Crimes and
Punishments," subtitle "Cruelty to Animals," to follow immediately
after Section 60 thereof, and to read as follows:
60A.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell,
offer for sale, barter or give away baby chickens, duckling, or other
fowl, under three weeks of age, as pets, toys, premiums or novelties or
to color, dye, stain or otherwise change the natural color of baby
chickens, ducklings, or other fowl, provided, however, that this
section shall not be construed to prohibit the sale or display of such
baby chickens, ducklings, or other fowl, in proper facilities by
breeders or stores engaged in the business of selling for purposes of
commercial breeding and raising. Violation of this section shall
be deemed a misdemeanor and any person, firm, or corporation vio-
lating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction
thereof, be subject to a fine not less than the sum of twenty-five
dollars ($25.00).
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 329G of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (1959 Edition, being
Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Kent County," subtitle "Plumbing and Health," as last
amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 1966; to specify the term
of members of the Kent County Plumbing Board.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 329G of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County
(1959 Edition, being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Kent County," subtitle "Plumbing and Health," as
last amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 1966; be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
329G.
The County Commissioners shall [annually] appoint a County
Plumbing Board which shall consist of five (5) members made up of
a representative of the Master Plumbers Association of Kent County,
