72                                     LAWS OF MARYLAND                           [CH. 59

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 466 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Receiving
Stolen Goods, Money or Securities," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

466.

Every person who shall be convicted of the crime of receiving
any stolen money, goods, or chattels, to the value of one hundred
dollars or upwards, knowing the same to be stolen, or of the crime
of receiving any bond, bill obligatory, bill of exchange, promissory
note for the payment of money, bank note, paper bill of credit
[. Or] or certificate granted by or under the authority of this State,
or the United States, or any of them, to the value of one hundred
dollars or upwards, knowing the same to be stolen, shall restore such
money, goods, or chattels or thing taken and received to the owner
thereof, or make restitution to the value of the whole or such part
thereof as shall not be restored, and shall be guilty of a felony, and
upon conviction be sentenced to undergo confinement in the pen-
itentiary, or in the house of correction, or in jail, in the discretion
of the court imposing sentence, for not more than ten years. And
such receiver may be prosecuted and punished, although the prin-
cipal offender or offenders shall not have been convicted, and al-
though such receiver shall have received such money, goods or chat-
tels or things from a person other than the person by whom such
money, goods or chattels or things shall have been stolen. In Balti-
more City, where the amount of money or the value of the thing
received does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), the Munici-
pal Court of Baltimore City shall have jurisdiction to try persons
charged with violating this section, provided that persons so con-
victed in the Municipal Court shall not be sentenced to the pen-
itentiary by that Court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 59
(House Bill 316)

AN ACT to add new Sections 109(a) (11a), 109(a) (46a) and
109 (a) (54a) to Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal
Court of Baltimore City," to follow immediately after Sections
109(a) (11), 109(a) (46) and 109(a) (54) thereof, adding the
burning of crosses or other religious symbols, the manufacturing
or using of Molotov Cocktails, and refusing to leave public build-
ings or grounds upon request, to those crimes over which the
Municipal Court of Baltimore City has jurisdiction.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 109(a) (11a), 109(a) (46a) and 109(a) (54a)
