day following, except on Sunday when [no sales shall be allowed]
the hours for sale shall be between the hours of midnight and 1:00
A.M. and 1:00 o'clock P.M. and 12:00 o'clock midnight.
Provided,
however, that all said hotels shall purchase all wines and liquors
sold by them from the Dorchester County liquor control board dis-
pensaries.

97.

In Dorchester County, notwithstanding any other provisions of this
subtitle, a Class C, beer, wine and liquor licensee shall be entitled to
sell beer, wine and liquor for consumption on the premises only,
between the hours of 10 o'clock A.M. on any day and 1 o'clock A.M.
on the following day, except [that no sales shall be made between
midnight Saturday and 10 o'clock A.M. on the following Monday]
on Sunday, Class B, C, and D A AND C beer licensees may sell beer
and Class B and C beer, wine and liquor licensees may sell beer, wine
and liquor from midnight and 1:00 A.M. and 1:00 o'clock P.M. to
12:00 o'clock midnight Sundays.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 337
(House Bill 956)

AN ACT to add new Section 9(18A) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Revenue
and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed and Where," to follow
immediately after Section 9(18) thereof, to provide that the
Charles County Fair, Inc., La Plata, Maryland, shall be exempt
from all real estate taxes in Charles County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9(18A) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed and Where,"
to follow immediately after Section 9(18) thereof, and to read as
follows:

9.

(18A.) The Charles County Fair, Inc., La Plata, Maryland shall
be exempt from all real estate taxes in Charles County*
FOR PUR-
POSES OF COUNTY TAXATION, BUT SHALL BE ASSESSED
AND CARRIED ON THE ASSESSMENT BOOKS AND TAX
ROLLS OF THE COUNTY AND SHALL BE TREATED AS
THOUGH TAXABLE FOR PURPOSES OF COMPUTING PAY-
MENTS OF STATE FUNDS TO THE COUNTY IF THE COMPU-
TATION OF THE AMOUNTS THEREOF IS IN ANY MANNER
BASED UPON OR IN ANY MANNER RELATES TO ASSESS-
MENT OR ASSESSED VALUATIONS.
