The County Commissioners of Harford County shall pay a pension
or salary to each judge who (1) is retired under this subtitle, (2) is
receiving a pension or salary from the State under this subtitle, and
(8) was a resident judge in Harford County at the time of his re-
tirement. The pension or salary is in addition and supplementary
to any pension or salary paid by the State under this subtitle; and it
shall be in an annual amount computed as two hundred and fifty
dollars ($250.00) for each year or partial year of service as a resi-
dent judge in Harford County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1967.
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT IF SENATE
BILL NO. 502 (CHAPTER NO. ) OR ANY OTHER BILL OR
GENERAL LAW (CHAPTER NO. ) IS ENACTED INTO LAW
BY THE 1967 SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, OR
BY ANY FUTURE SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,
ENACTING A STATEWIDE OR GENERAL CHANGE IN THE
LAWS RELATING TO PENSIONS OR RETIREMENT SALARIES
PAID TO JUDGES (AND INCLUDING THOSE IN HARFORD
COUNTY), THIS ACT IS VOID AND OF NO FURTHER EFFECT.
SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT SUBJECT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 2 OF THIS ACT, THIS ACT
SHALL TAKE EFFECT ON JULY 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 271
(House Bill 667)
AN ACT to provide for the relief of certain horse owners who
suffered a financial loss as a result of an incident which occurred
at the Acredale Recreation Center on August 21,1966.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's County
is authorized to include in the next levy of taxes for the benefit of
The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and
in the next appropriation to the said Commission, a sum not to exceed
Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars, which sum shall be a part of the
Commission's park budget and shall be in addition to any other sum
or sums directed by law to be levied for and appropriated to The
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission by Prince
George's County. The said sum received by the Commission from
the said levy and appropriation shall be used by the Commission
to satisfy the claims of the horse owners growing out of the spraying
of a herbicide by the Commission's employees at the Acredale
Recreation Center in Prince George's County. The dispersal of this
sum shall be administered by the Commission and any funds not so
expended shall revert to the Commission's park funds. Pursuant
