CHAPTER 210
(House Bill 175)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4(g) of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1966 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Board
of Natural Resources," amending the law relating to the composi-
tion of meetings of the Board of Natural Resources to provide
for designation and attendance of a representative of the State
Roads Commission, THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COM-
MISSION AND THE STATE PLANNING DEPARTMENT.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4(g) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Natural Re-
sources," subtitle "Board of Natural Resources," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

4.

(g) The Board shall be required to meet at least once every
two months. Special meetings may be called by the chairman or
upon the written request of five members of the Board. A majority
of the members of the Board shall constitute a quorum. If any
appointive member of the Board shall be absent without reasonable
cause from three successive meetings of the Board, his membership
on the Board shall automatically terminate and he shall forfeit the
remainder of his term of office which shall be filled by the Governor
as in the case of a vacancy in office. A representative of the State
Roads Commission, designated by the Director of Highways,

RESENTATIVE OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COM-
MISSION DESIGNATED BY THE DIRECTOR AND A REPRE-
SENTATIVE OF THE STATE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
DESIGNATED BY THE DIRECTOR, shall attend all regular and
special meetings of the Board and serve in an advisory capacity.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 211
(House Bill 178)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 253 (d)
and 253 (e) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of
Vehicles upon Highways," subheading "Putting glass, etc., on high-
way prohibited.", relating to the responsibility for leaking or
spilling of loads from trucks and the penalty for same.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
