Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 230(a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County," subtitle "County
Commissioners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

230.

(a) The Board of County Commissioners of Harford County is
hereby authorized to establish a Citizens Nursing Home Board of
Harford County; and if it shall establish such a board, it shall be
constituted and controlled as follows:

The Board shall consist of ten members; and the initial members
shall be appointed by the County Commissioners, three members
to be appointed for three years, three for two years, three for one
year. Members shall be chosen from among the residents of the
County. [The Chaiman] One member of the Board of County
Commissioners shall be a member of the Board ex officio, as chosen
by the Board of County Commissioners from time to time.
As the
terms of the initial appointees expire or as vacancies occur, their
successors shall be elected by a majority vote of a quorum of the
Board for terms of three years or the remainder thereof; and there-
after, these positions shall be so filled.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 29
(Senate Bill 255)

AN ACT to repeal Section 513 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Harford County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County," subtitle
"Taxes and County Treasurer"; to repeal Section 512 of said
Article and subtitle as this section was amended in Chapter 260
of the Acts of 1966, and to enact a new Section 512 in lieu thereof,
to stand in the place of the section so repealed; and to state the
legislative intent as to the purported repeal of said Section 512 in
Chapter 260 of the Acts of 1966, correcting an ambiguity in the
local laws of Harford County concerning tax sales and the duties
of the Treasurer of Harford County in relation thereto, correcting
an error in Chapter 260 of the Acts of 1966 in relation thereto,
and relating generally to tax sales and the duties of the County
Treasurer of Harford County on this subject.

Whereas, by Chapter 260 of the Acts of 1966, the General Assem-
bly repealed and modified a number of sections in the Code of Public
Local Laws of Harford County in relation to tax sales; and

Whereas, in the same Act the General Assembly amended Section
122A of Article 81 of the Annotated Code in order to provide for the
