Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 247)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 120 (a)
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1966 Supplement) title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Motor
Vehicle Financial Responsibility," requiring that every person fil-
ing a motor vehicle accident report shall state the name and ad-
dress of his insurance carrier, THE POLICY NUMBER and the
name and address of the local agent for the insurance carrier.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 120(a) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles,"
subtitle "Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility," be and hereby
is repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
120.
(a). The operator of every motor vehicle which is in any manner
involved in an accident within this State, in which any person is
killed or injured, or in which damage to the property of any one
person, including himself, in excess of one hundred fifty dollars
($150.00) is sustained, shall within five days report the matter in
writing to the Department. This report shall state, in addition to
all other information required to be contained therein, the name
and address of the insurance carrier for the person making the
report, THE POLICY NUMBER and the name and address of the
local agent for the insurance carrier. If such operator be physically
incapable of making such report, the owner of the motor vehicle
involved in such accident, shall, as soon as he learns of the accident,
report the matter in writing to the Department. The operator or
the owner shall make such other and additional reports relating to
such accident as the Department shall require.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
