AN ACT to add a new Section 211H-8 to Article 89B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1966 Sup-
plement), title "State Roads", subtitle "Expenditure of Commis-
sion's Funds and Programming and Scheduling of Highway Proj-
ects", to follow immediately after Section 211H-7 thereof amend-
ing the twenty year highway need study of the State Roads Com-
mission to show the need for improving Maryland Route 414-St.
Barnabas Road between Maryland Route 5 and the Capital Belt-
way, and to provide for additional interchanges at Maryland Route
414-St. Barnabas Road and the Capital Beltway.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 211H-8 be and it is hereby added to Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and
1966 Supplement), title "State Roads", subtitle "Expenditure of
Commission's Funds and Programming and Scheduling of Highway
Projects", to follow immediately after Section 211H-7 thereof, to
read as follows:
211H-8.
The official twenty year Highway Need Study of the State Roads
Commission is hereby amended to show the need to widen and
improve Maryland Route 414-St. Barnabas Road from Maryland
Route 5 to the Capital Beltway and to provide additional inter-
changes at Maryland Route 414-St. Barnabas Road and the Capital
Beltway. , the construction is hereby authorized and directed to be
undertaken as soon as it is practicable to do so.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to create a Legislative Liaison Committee from the member-
ship of the General Assembly to perform certain advisory and
liaison duties and functions with the Constitutional Convention
and providing generally for the membership, powers, duties, func-
tions, and compensations of this Committee.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That there be and there is hereby created a Legislative Liaison
Committee from the membership of the General Assembly.

(a) A Legislative Liaison Committee is created with the members,
powers, duties, and functions provided in this section. There shall
