have been legally registered in such court during the last twelve
months and said clerks shall furnish such lists upon request and
the same shall be retained as official records of such Board. He shall
see that all physicians who have been registered, and not entitled
to be registered under this subtitle be presented for prosecution to
the State's attorney of the City of Baltimore, and of each county in
the State in which persons so charged, respectively, reside. The
secretary-treasurer shall keep the official records of the Board, as
provided for in Section 122 of this subtitle, the examination papers
of applicants for at least three years, after they have been passed
upon by the Board, after which they may be destroyed, and a com-
plete list of all registered physicians in the entire State. He shall
call to the attention of the State's attorney of Baltimore City and
of the different counties throughout the State all violations of the law
under the subtitle. [He shall collect and hold all moneys belonging
to the Board, for which he shall give bond to the State of Maryland
in the sum of $5,000 the same to be held by the State Comptroller,
the premium for which bond shall be paid from the funds of said
Board.] He shall collect and hold all moneys belonging to the Board,
for which he shall, upon entering the duties of his office, be covered
by a surety bond in accordance with the provisions of Sections 46
through 50 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
He
shall receive from the income of the Board such salary as the Board
may determine.

Article 43

259. Same—Salaries and expenses; account of moneys received and
expended; bond of secretary-treasurer.

The salaries of said Board except the secretary-treasurer shall be
$20.00 per day for each member, for each and every day upon which
he is engaged upon the duties of the Board and all legitimate ex-
penses incurred in the discharge of his official duties. The secretary-
treasurer of the said Board shall receive a salary to be fixed by the
Board, and not to exceed one thousand dollars per annum; and all
legitimate expenses incurred in the discharge of his official duties.
He shall pay to the Comptroller such funds of the Board as may be
in his possession, and take a receipt therefor. [In its annual report
to the Governor, the Board shall render an account of all moneys
received and expenses incurred pursuant herewith, and the secretary-
treasurer shall give such bonds as the Board shall from time to
time direct.] In its annual report to the Governor, the Board shall

Article 43

291. Organization of State Board of Examiners; quorum; meet-
ings; bylaws; register of nurses; prosecution of violators;
bond of treasurer; salaries and expenses.

The members of the State Board of Examiners of Nurses shall
annually in the month of May elect from their members a president
and a secretary who shall be treasurer. Three members of the Board
shall constitute a quorum, and special meetings of the Board shall
