accordance with the provisions of Sections 46 through 50 of Article
78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
He shall receive in full
compensation for his services such salary as shall be provided in the
State budget. He may be removed by the Governor for incompetency
or misconduct.

The Administrator of Loan Laws shall administer and supervise
the provisions of Article 58A of the Code relating to small loans.
It shall be the duty of said Administrator to report in detail to the
State's attorney of the county, or Baltimore City, having jurisdic-
tion in the premises any violation of laws the purposes of which,
expressed, or implied, is the protection of borrowers or the punish-
ment of usurious money lenders.

The Administrator of Loan Laws shall have the power to employ
a deputy administrator, a chief supervisor, two assistants and a
secretary-stenographer at such compensation as shall be provided in
the State budget, and such additional investigators, clerks and ste-
nographers as he may deem necessary to perform the duties, and
exercise the powers conferred upon him and may be provided for in
the budget, all payable in semimonthly installments. The said
salaries of employees and any expenses shall be payable out of re-
ceipts which may be received under the provisions of Article 58A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland. All persons employed by the
Administrator of Loan Laws shall devote their entire time to the
duties of their respective positions providing the present employees
shall continue to serve in their present positions and shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges under Article 64A of the Annotated
Code, title "Merit System."

Article 41
371. Director; vice-chairman; treasurer; other employees.

(c) Election of treasurer; duties; bond.—The Commission from
time to time shall elect one of their number to serve as Treasurer.
The Treasurer shall be a responsible person and shall receive and ac-
count for such funds of the Commission as come into his custody.
[He shall provide a corporate surety bond in such sum as may be
determined by the Commission from time to time, conditioned upon
the proper and faithful performance of his duties; and the premium
for the bond shall be paid by the Commission from time to time, as
one of its proper expenses.] He shall, upon entering the duties of
his office, be covered by a surety bond in accordance with the provi-
sions of Sections 46 through 50 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland.

Article 43
121. Same—Secretary-Treasurer; powers and duties.

The Board shall, at its meeting on the first Tuesday in June of
each year, appoint one of its members as secretary-treasurer for the
Board, whose term of office shall last one year, and who shall be
eligible for reappointment, and whose duties shall be as follows:
Within sixty days from the time of his appointment such secretary-
treasurer shall request the Clerk of Circuit Court of Baltimore City
and the clerk of circuit court for each county in the State to furnish
said secretary-treasurer of the Board a list of all physicians who
