TATION FOR SOBRIETY, HONESTY AND INTEGRITY, AND
HE SHALL DEVOTE FULL TIME TO THE DUTIES OF HIS
OFFICE.
THE INSPECTOR SHALL INVESTIGATE ALL APPLICANTS
FOR AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE OR TRANSFER
OF LICENSE IN FREDERICK COUNTY, ENFORCE ALL ALCO-
HOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS THEREIN; AND INVESTIGATE
ALL VIOLATIONS OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS
AND REPORT THE SAME TO THE COMMISSIONER. THE IN-
SPECTOR SHALL HAVE ALL THE POWERS OF A PEACE
OFFICER OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND IN RESPECT TO
THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS
OF FREDERICK COUNTY AND SHALL MAKE AN OATH, AS
PROVIDED IN THE CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND, TO
FAITHFULLY PERFORM THE DUTIES ENTRUSTED TO HIM.
THE INSPECTOR SHALL VISIT AND INSPECT AT UNAN-
NOUNCED TIMES EVERY LICENSED PREMISES IN FRED-
ERICK COUNTY AT LEAST EVERY NINETY DAYS. THE IN-
SPECTOR SHALL MAKE MONTHLY REPORTS IN WRITING
TO THE LICENSE COMMISSIONER COVERING HIS ACTIVI-
TIES, SETTING FORTH ANY COMPLAINTS, VIOLATIONS
THAT MAY HAVE BEEN OBSERVED BY HIM OR REPORTED
TO HIM. NO PERSON SHALL ACCEPT APPOINTMENT OR
CONTINUE AS AN INSPECTOR IF EITHER HE OR ANY MEM-
BER OF HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY HAS ANY PERSONAL
OR FINANCIAL INTEREST EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDI-
RECTLY IN ANY LICENSE OR IN ANY LICENSED PREM-
ISES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE. THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FREDERICK COUNTY SHALL
PROVIDE THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES INSPECTOR AN
OFFICE, A PART TIME SECRETARY OF HIS OWN CHOOS-
ING, AND AN EXPENSE ACCOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) FROM THE FUNDS RE-
CEIVED BY THEM FROM THE LICENSING OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES ESTABLISHMENTS.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 236 (b),
(c), and (f), 237 (d) and (m) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "State Department of Assessments and Taxation,"
revising the salary classification of the several Supervisors of
Assessments, Assistant Supervisors of Assessments, Field Super-
visors of Assessments, Assessors and Assessors Aides, and relat-
ing generally to classifications and compensation of such officials
and employees.
