vide that a specified amount of oysters or clams may be taken
fey certain methods for non-commercial purposes MAY BE
TAKEN FOR NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES FROM THE
NATURAL OYSTER BARS OF THE STATE IN SUCH PLACES
AND SUCH TIMES AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY REGULA-
TIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHESAPEAKE BAY
AFFAIRS without the requirement of obtaining a license.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 698 (b) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters
and Clams," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
698.
(b) No person shall take or catch oysters or clams for market in
the waters of this State who has not been duly licensed as provided
in this subtitle. [In no event shall a] No license shall be required
under the provisions of this subtitle [in Anne Arundel and Calvert
counties] for any person to take or catch up to one bushel of oysters
FROM THE NATURAL OYSTER BARS OF THE STATE for his
own use and consumption, and not for sale or marketing pro-
vided that such oysters or clams may be taken only by the use of
shaft tongs or rakes; and provided further that such oysters or clams
may be taken on Sunday between the hours of sunrise and sunset as
well as any other day during the season for taking oysters or clams.
IN SUCH PLACES AND AT SUCH TIMES AS MAY BE PRE-
SCRIBED BY REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
CHESAPEAKE BAY AFFAIRS.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 17 and
18 of Article 95 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume and 1966 Supplement) title, "Treasurer," to au-
thorize the State fiscal agent to submit a certified account to the
State Treasurer of all redeemed and paid State of Maryland bonds
and coupons, to change the signatures on certificates of cremation
of State bonds and coupons and to require accounting or trans-
mission to the Treasurer for all State bonds or coupons which
have been paid by agents for such bonds or coupons.
