Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this Act shall
be construed to apply to license suspensions or revocations occurring
prior to the effective date of this Act.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

NOTE: An incorrect version of Senate Bill 331 was signed by the Governor on May 4, 1967,
at which time it was assigned Chapter No. 673. Subsequently it was discovered
that the text of the bill signed by the Governor was different from that passed by
the two Houses of the General Assembly.

Acting in conformity with two prior rulings of the Attorney General of Maryland
to the effect that in such circumstances a bill signed by the Governor was a complete
nullity since it had never received approval by the two Houses of the General As-
sembly and that the Governor might properly sign a corrected version of the bill,
it was reprinted and signed by the Governor in the form shown above on May 26,
1967.

CHAPTER 674
(Senate Bill 360)

AN ACT to add new Section 249 (f) to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public
Education", subtitle "Chapter 26. University of Maryland", to
follow immediately after Section 249 (e) thereof, relating to the
government of the University of Maryland Baltimore County
Campus.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 249 (f) be and it is hereby added to Article 77 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), to
follow immediately after Section 249 (e) thereof, and to read as
follows:

249.

(f) The University of Maryland Baltimore County Campus here-
tofore established shall hereafter be deemed an integral part of the
University of Maryland as provided in this Section 249, and with
respect thereto the Board of Regents shall have and exercise all the
powers and duties heretofore conferred upon said regents by this
Section 249 and such additional powers as may be granted to said
regents from time to time by the General Assembly.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
