Nothing herein contained shall be construed to limit the power or
activity of any agency of this State or any subdivision thereof or any
private agency or person interested in the aesthetic, natural, health
and welfare, scenic, and cultural qualities of the environment of the
State of Maryland.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ON THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT ALL APPROPRIATIONS AND
CREDITS TO "KEEP MARYLAND BEAUTIFUL" ON THE
BOOKS AND ACCOUNTS OF THIS STATE OR OF ANY DE-
PARTMENT OR AGENCY OF THIS STATE ARE TRANS-
FERRED TO AND SHALL BE USED BY THE MARYLAND
ENVIRONMENTAL TRUST FOR AND IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH ORIGINALLY APPROPRIATED.
AT THE SAME TIME ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY, FILES,
RECORDS, OR EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE THE PROPERTY
OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND ARE ALSO TRANSFERRED
TO THE USE AND CUSTODY OF THE MARYLAND ENVIRON-
MENTAL TRUST.

Sec. 2. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
