State, for any purpose whatsoever, unmerchantable oysters as de-
clared herein whether the unmerchantable oysters be taken from
or caught on the natural beds or bars of this State, or from private
beds and lots in this State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 411)
AN ACT to add new Section 11(16) to Article 73B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title
"Pensions," subtitle "In General," and to add new Section 113
(10) to Article 77 of the said Code, title "Public Education,"
subtitle "Teachers' Certificates, Salaries and Pensions," subhead-
ing "Teachers' Retirement System," and to add new Section 53
(13) to Article 88B of the said Code, title "State Police" subtitle
"State Police Retirement System," amending the laws to permit
medical insurance premium deductions from the annuity of re-
tired individuals.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 73B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement),
title "Pensions," subtitle "In General," said new section to follow
immediately after Section 11(15), and to be known as Section 11
(16), and to read as follows:
11.
(16) Election to have premiums for State approved medical in-
surance paid out of annuity—
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Article, any
person retired from membership in the Employees' Retirement Sys-
tem of the State of Maryland, may, at his option, elect to have
the premium or any part thereof, for State approved medical in-
surance for retired State Employees, deducted from his annuity
by the Employees' Retirement System and paid on his behalf to the
carrier so approved.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section be and
it is hereby added to Article 77 of said Code, title "Public Education,"
subtitle "Teachers Certificates, Salaries and Pensions," subheading
"Teachers' Retirement System," said new section to follow immedi-
ately after Section 113(9), and to be known as Section 113(10),
and to read as follows:
