title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administration—Registration—
Titling," to require the refusal or revocation of license of a motor-
cycle operator without warning upon conviction of certain motor
vehicle offenses and to remove an obsolete reference to the refusal,
suspension or revocation of operators' or chauffeurs' licenses of
minors from a section of the motor vehicle law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 105 (c) of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
105.
(c) The Department shall refuse or revoke the license of an oper-
ator, motorcycle operator or chauffeur without preliminary hearing
upon a showing by its records or other sufficient evidence that the
applicant or licensee has been convicted of an offense for which
mandatory revocation of license is required [and shall refuse,
revoke or suspend without preliminary hearing for not less than
thirty days as provided in Section 104(b) of this Article].
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(Senate Bill 189)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 90 (c),
91 (a) and 295 of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," sub-
titles respectively, "Administration—Registration—Titling" and
"Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways"; to add new Sections 86B,
AND 195A and 212 (b-1) to the said Article of the Code, subtitles
respectively, "Administration—Registration—Titling" and "Oper-
ation of Vehicles Upon Highways," to follow respectively after
Sections 86A, AND 195, and 212 (b-1) thereof; to repeal Section 195
of the said Code (1957 Edition), subtitle "Operation of Vehicles
Upon Highways"; and to enact a new Section 195 in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the section so repealed, to provide for the
licensing of persons in this State for the operation of motorcycles,
to provide for learner's permits for motorcycle operators, and for
examination of such operators, to generally regulate the operation
of motorcycles in the State, and to provide safety requirements for
motorcycles operated in the State, to provide for the operation of
rented or leased motorcycles, to regulate the speed capability of
some motorcycles for operation in the State, to generally license
operators of motorcycles and to regulate the operation of motor-
cycles in the State, and to correct references to the places where
examinations of operators of vehicles and motorcycles are held.
