"Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments,"
subheading "Fish," to follow immediately after Section 158 thereof,
to prohibit persons in charge of any boat or vessel catching or
transporting Shellfish from carrying on board a domestic animal
other than a rodent and to provide penalties for violations.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 158½ be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments,"
subheading "Fish," to follow immediately after Section 158 thereof
and to read as follows:
158½.
It is unlawful for any person in charge of any boat or vessel
catching or transporting Shellfish to carry on board the boat or
vessel a domestic animal of any kind. Violation of this section is
punishable upon conviction by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars
($100.00) for each violation.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(House Bill 29)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 119 (d) of
Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume), title "Inspections," subtitle "Maryland Commercial Feed
Law of 1958," amending the registration provisions in the Mary-
land Commercial Feed Law of 1958 in order to correct an error
therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 119 (d) of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Inspections," subtitle "Mary-
land Commercial Feed Law of 1958," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments to read as follows:
119.
(d) The State Chemist is empowered to refuse registration of
any application not in compliance with the provisions of this sub-
title; and to cancel any registration subsequently found not to be
in compliance with any provision of this subtitle; provided, how-
ever, that no registration shall be refused or cancelled until the
[registration] registrant shall have been given opportunity to be
heard before the State Chemist and to amend his application in
order to comply with the requirements of this subtitle.
