CHAPTER 32
(Senate Bill 57)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 38D of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement),
title "Elections", subtitle "Registration by Permanent Boards of
Registry", amending the law concerning a new general registra-
tion of voters in Anne Arundel County in order to correct an
error therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 38D of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Supplement), title "Elections", subtitle "Registration by Per-
manent Boards of Registry", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

38D. In Anne Arundel County a new general registration of all
the qualified voters of the county, shall be made in the calendar year
1965. This general registration shall be in all the districts of Anne
Arundel County. It shall be made in the same manner and under the
same rules in all respects as provided in this article so far as the
same may be applicable. The registration of voters made under the
provisions of this section shall supersede and thereafter be used in
the place of the present registration of voters in Anne Arundel
County. The Board of Supervisors of Elections shall furnish to the
chairman of the State central committee of the Democratic and Re-
publican parties twelve copies each of the new list of registered
voters in the county. In addition thereto the Board of Supervisors
of Elections shall cause a sufficient number of copies, not to exceed
50, of the new list of registered voters in the county to be made
available for distribution to such candidates for public office as may
apply [therefore] therefor.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 33
(Senate Bill 94)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 3 (a)
and (i) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition and 1965 Supplement), title "County Commissioners",
subtitle "General Provisions", to broaden the enumerated powers
of the County Commissioners of Caroline County and to correct
unnecessary language therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 3 (a) and (i) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Supplement), title "County Com-
missioners", subtitle "General Provisions", be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
