3. Enumerated Powers.

(a) The county commissioners of each county in this State, except
Worcester, Kent, [Caroline, (except as hereinbelow provided),]
Allegany, except as specifically provided in subsection (s), Prince
George's, Washington, Somerset, Dorchester, Baltimore, Anne Arun-
del, Cecil, Charles (except as provided in subsection (bb)), Howard,
Frederick, and Queen Anne's counties, in addition to, but not in
substitution of, the powers which have been or may hereafter be
granted them, shall have the following express powers:

(i) To license and regulate the construction, operation and loca-
tion of trailers and tourist camps outside the limits of incorporated
towns and cities. [This subsection shall be applicable in Caroline
County, and the County Commissioners of Caroline County shall
have the powers provided herein.]

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 34
(Senate Bill 103)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40 (r) of
Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement),
title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact", subtitle "State's
Attorney", to increase the annual salary of the State's Attorney of
Queen Anne's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40 (r) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact",
subtitle "State's Attorney", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

40.

(r) In Queen Anne's County, (1) the State's Attorney's salary is
[twenty-four hundred dollars ($2,400)] four thousand five hundred
dollars ($4,500.00).

(2) The State's Attorney's special fund allowance for the cost of
making investigations and the general promotion of justice in the
county is two thousand dollars ($2,000). Expenditures from this
allowance shall be accounted for to the Board of County Commis-
sioners at the end of each year, and any balance remaining in the fund
at the end of a fiscal year reverts to the general funds of the county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall not be construed to extend or apply to the State's Attorney in
office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
shall take effect with the next term of office.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.
