Comptroller are dissatisfied with the determination of the circuit
courts for the counties or the Baltimore City Court, as the case may
be, they or either of them may appeal to the Court of Appeals of
Maryland.] within thirty (30) days from the date of mailing of the
notice thereof, to the Maryland Tax Court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 263
(Senate Bill 323)

AN ACT to add new Section 10 (6) to Article 21 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Conveyancing," sub-
title "Conveyances in General," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 10 (5) thereof, to provide that in Frederick County all public
taxes and charges must be paid on the whole original tract, be-
fore a new subdivision transferal will be transferred in the land
records and on the assessment books and also in said County if
the property is in an incorporated town or city there must be an
endorsement on the deed that all municipal taxes have been paid.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 10 (6) be and it is hereby added to Article 21
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Con-
veyancing," subtitle "Conveyances in General," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 10 (5) thereof, and to read as follows:

10.

(6) In Frederick County if the property to be transferred is a
subdivision, which is being dissected from a larger tract of land,
then all the public taxes, assessments, and charges due on said larger
tract shall have been paid before the property shall be transferred
on the assessment books or land records. In Frederick County, not-
withstanding any other provisions of this section, the certificate of
the treasurer and the appropriate municipal tax collector, if the
property is within an incorporated town or city, showing that all
taxes have been paid shall be endorsed on the deed and such en-
dorsement shall be sufficient authority for transfer on the assess-
ment books.
