of execution by a judgment creditor of a licensee nor shall said
licenses be subject to a distraint for rent.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1965, said Chapter
concerning the records of justices of the peace and magistrate's
courts in Washington County, and to add a new Section 29 to
Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement
Volume and 1965 Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-
title "Docket" to follow immediately after Section 28 thereof,
making provisions in Washington County that records of justices
of the peace and magistrate's courts shall be kept by the Clerk of
the Court on a continuing and uninterrupted basis.
AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 29 (C) OF ARTICLE 52 OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1964 REPLACEMENT
VOLUME AND 1965 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE ''JUSTICES OF
THE PEACE", SUBTITLE "DOCKET", AND TO REPEAL
CHAPTER 679 OF THE ACTS OF 1965, REPEALING A LOCAL
LAW OF WASHINGTON COUNTY CONCERNING THE REC-
ORDS OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND OF MAGIS-
TRATE'S COURTS.
WHEREAS, by Chapter 607 of the Acts of 1965, the General As-
sembly repealed Section 29 of Article 52 of the Code which concerned
the delivery of certain papers of justices of the peace to clerks of
court, and ,
WHEREAS, by Chapter 679 of 1965, the General Assembly sub-
sequently had been repealed, and
had been repealed, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to re-enact the provisions of Chapter 679
of 1965 in order that they may be codified in their proper place and
be applicable to justices of the peace and magistrate's courts in
Washington County; now therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly, of Maryland,
That Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1965, said Chapter concerning the
records of justices of the peace and magistrate's courts in Washing-
ton County, be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section 29 be and it
is hereby added to Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume and 1965 Supplement), title "Justices of
the Peace", subtitle "Docket", to follow immediately after Section 28
thereof, and to read as follows:
