SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT SECTION
29 (C) OF ARTICLE 52 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARY-
LAND (1964 REPLACEMENT VOLUME AND 1965 SUPPLE-
MENT), TITLE "JUSTICES OF THE PEACE", SUBTITLE
"DOCKET", BE AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED.
29. In Washington County, and notwithstanding any other pro-
visions of this article, the records of the justices of the peace and
magistrate's courts shall be kept by the clerk of the courts on a con-
tinuing and uninterrupted basis and retained by the clerks.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 282)
AN ACT to repeal Section 19 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Education", subtitle
"Chapter 3. State Board of Education", and to enact a new Section
19 in lieu thereof to stand in the place of the section repealed,
to provide for meetings and the election of officers of the State
Board of Education.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Public Education", subtitle "Chapter 3. State
Board of Education", be and it is hereby repealed, and that a new
Section 19 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place of the section so repealed, and to read as follows:
19. Meetings; election of president and vice-president.
The State Board of Education shall hold a regular meeting during
the months of February, May, August and November, on a day and
at a time and place selected by the Board. The regular meeting in
May shall be the annual meeting, at which the Board shall each year
select one of its members to serve as president, and one to serve as
vice-president, The Board may hold such special meetings as its
duties and business may require.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Harford County, from time to time, to borrow not exceeding Two
