Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 33 be and it is hereby added to Article 30 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Supple-
ment) , title "Deaf, Mute, or Blind," subtitle "Miscellaneous," to follow
immediately after Section 32 thereof, and to read as follows:

33.

(a)    It is lawful for a blind person to take a dog guide into any
public building, restaurant or eating place, conveyance, hotel, inn,
tourist cabin or motel, elevator, or other similar public place, if the
dog guide can be properly identified as being from a recognized
school for the certification of dog guides and if the dog is properly
harnessed so as to be within the effective control of the blind person.
It is unlawful for any person to prohibit, hinder, or interfere with
the right of a blind person to take a dog guide into such a public place
under the provisions of this section, or to impose any additional
payment or charge therefor.

(b)    Any person who violates any provision of this section is
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject
to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars for each such offense.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT SECTION
20A OF ARTICLE 27 OF SAID CODE (1965 SUPPLEMENT),
TITLE "CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS," SUBTITLE "BLIND
PERSONS," BE AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED.

SEC. 2. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(House Bill 686)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 158 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (1959 Edition,
being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Kent County," subtitle "Electrical Examiners," as added by
Chapter 756 of the Acts of 1959, providing for the qualifications
of the Kent County Board of Electrical Examiners.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 158 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County
(1959 Edition, being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Kent County," subtitle "Electrical Examiners,"
as added by Chapter 756 of the Acts of 1959, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

158.

The Board of County Commissioners of Kent County shall appoint
