become effective; which Board shall be known as the Board of Elec-
trical Examiners of Kent County, and which shall consist of three
[persons] residents of Kent County, for the purpose of examining
into the qualifications and capabilities of all persons who are en-
gaged, or desire to engage, in the business of Master Electricians
as defined in this subtitle. The Board so appointed shall consist of
[the Chief of one of the Kent County volunteer fire companies and]
at least two [competent] qualified, practical electricians of Kent
County, who shall be selected from a list of four names recommended
to the Board of County Commissioners by the Kent County Elec-
trical Contractors Association. If any vacancy occurs for any cause
during the term of any Board as herein provided for, the Board
of County Commissioners shall fill the vacancy from a list of two
names recommended by said Kent County Electrical Contractors
Association. The Board of County Commissioners shall have full
power to remove any member of the Board for incompetency or im-
proper conduct by satisfactory evidence being presented to it of such
condition. The term of office of the members of said Board shall
be for one year.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 192
(House Bill 693)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 264(a)
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Gaming," and to
add a new Section 264(e) to said Article, title and subtitle of the
Code, to follow immediately after Section 264(d) thereof, pro-
viding for the confiscation in Anne Arundel County of money,
currency, and cash seized or captured in connection with any ar-
rest for illegal gambling or operation of any illegal lottery, and
to provide for the confiscation in Anne Arundel County of certain
moneys so seized or captured and now in the possession of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and the
forfeiture of such moneys to the County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 264(a) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Gaming," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and that new Section 264(e) be and it is hereby added to
said Article, title and subtitle of the Code, to follow immediately
after Section 264(d) thereof, and both to read as follows:

264.

(a) Whenever any money, currency or cash shall be seized or
captured by any police officer in Baltimore City, Allegany, Anne
Arundel,
Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent,
