extend to the judges of the Circuit Court of Baltimore County
discretionary powers to permit outside employment of jail inmates.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 645S of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Venue, Procedure and Sentence," subheading "Employment of
Prisoners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

645S.

The provisions of this subtitle apply in Baltimore City and in all
counties except Anne Arundel, [Baltimore County,] Caroline, Dor-
chester, Harford, Montgomery, Somerset, Washington, and Wi-
comico Counties.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

Approved March 23, 1966.

CHAPTER 111
(House Bill 807)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 252 (f) of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Gaming," changing
the disposition of the proceeds from the issuance of bingo licenses
in Baltimore County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 252 (f) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Gaming," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

252.

(f) The proceeds from the issuance of such license shall be de-
posited in the special fund for widows and other dependents of
the Baltimore County police [department] and fire bureaus, known
as the "Widows' Pension Fund."

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all proceeds from the is-
suance of such licenses which have been heretofore collected shall
be transferred to the Widows' Pension Fund.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

Approved March 23, 1966.
