(House Bill 689)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Section 255(m)
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Testamentary Law," subtitle "Orphans'
Court," to provide for an increase in the salaries of the judges
of the Orphans' Court in Baltimore County and to provide an
additional amount for the judge who is designated as chief judge
by the Governor.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255(m) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Testamentary Law," sub-
title "Orphans' Court," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
255.
(m) The salary of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore
County shall be [four thousand two hundred dollars ($4,200.00)]
six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) per annum and the chief judge, as
designated by the Governor in Section 256 of this Article shall re-
ceive an additional five hundred dollars ($500.00) per annum.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Section 255(o)
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Testamentary Law," subtitle "Orphans'
Court," providing for a change in the method of compensation and
an increase in such compensation for judges of the Orphans'
Court for Prince George's County.
