municipal jurisdiction of the agent. Those deputized shall have the
same authority as regularly appointed safety inspectors of the
Department of Labor and Industry and shall report any and all
actions taken to the Commissioner of Labor and Industry on forms
supplied by the Commissioner. This deputization shall be extended
to include properly qualified employees of the Washington Suburban
Sanitary Commission and/or other similar authorities.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 91(a)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Agriculture," subhead-
ing "Soil Conservation Districts," to change the size and member-
ship of the State Soil Conservation Committee and to provide for
the terms of some members of the Committee.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 91 (a) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Agriculture,"
subheading "Soil Conservation Districts," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
91.
(a) There is hereby established, in the State Board of Agricul-
ture and the Regents of the University of Maryland, to serve as an
agency of the State and to perform the functions conferred upon it
in this subheading, the State Soil Conservation Committee. The
following shall serve as members of the Committee: The Director
of the Maryland Experiment Station, the Director of the Maryland
Agricultural Extension Service, the Director of the Maryland De-
partment of State Forests and Parks, the chairman of the State Board
of Agriculture, or other member of the Board he may designate, the
dean of Agriculture of the University of Maryland, the Director of
the Department of Game and Inland Fish, the Director of the De-
partment of Water Resources, the president of the Maryland associa-
tion of soil conservation districts, [two] three soil conservation dis-
trict supervisors representing different geographic areas of the State
from soil conservation districts organized in Maryland according to
the provisions of this subheading, each of whom is to serve for a
term of one year, to be appointed by the State Board of Agricul-
ture, and the principal administrative officer for Maryland of the
Soil Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture.
Of the three soil conservation district supervisors first appointed
to the committee, one shall serve for one year, one for two
years, one for three years, and thereafter each term shall be for a
period of three years. The committee shall adopt a seal, which seal
