Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 11(a) (11) of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Fees of Officers," sub-
title "Bailiffs and Criers," be and it is hereby repealed and re enacted,

with amendments, and that new Section 11(b) be and it is hereby

added to said Article to follow immediately after Section 11(a)

thereof; and all to read as follows:

THAT NEW SECTION 11(C) BE AND IT IS HEREBY ADDED
TO ARTICLE 36 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND
(1965 REPLACEMENT VOLUME), TITLE "FEES OF OFFI-
CERS," SUBTITLE "BAILIFFS AND CRIERS," TO FOLLOW IM-
MEDIATELY AFTER SECTION 11(B) THEREOF, AND TO
READ AS FOLLOWS:

11(a) (11).

Bailiffs in Charles County shall receive an [amount per day to

be determined by the county commissioners and approved by the

circuit court of Charles County, not to exceed, however, the amount
paid to jurors] twelve dollars ($12.00) per day.

In Charles County, in addition to the bailiffs and criers as pro-
vided in section (a) above, the chief judge of the Circuit Court

JUDGE OF THE 7TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT RESIDING
IN CHARLES COUNTY may appoint not more than two court depu-
ties to perform such duties and receive such salary as the court may
direct, not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month, which
salary shall be paid by the County Commissioners for Charles County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 636
(House Bill 234)

AN ACT to add new Section 9 (61) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed and Where," to follow im-
mediately after Section 9 (60) thereof to exempt personal property
owned by non-profit television broadcast translator stations from
county taxes in Allegany County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9 (61) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed and Where," to
follow immediately after Section 9 (60) thereof, and to read as
